JINGYUAN HU
Ph.D. Candidate | UCLA Anderson
I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Decisions, Operations & Technology Management (DOTM) area at the University of California, Los Angeles, where I am fortunate to be advised by Professor Fernanda Bravo and Professor Elisa Long. My research focuses on data-driven decision-making in the public sector, using econometrics and machine learning to bridge the gap between theory and practice. I am also broadly interested in examining the societal impact of new policies and technologies.
I am joining the Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine as an Assistant Professor of Operations and Decisions Technologies in Summer 2025. Always open to collaboration, feel free to reach out!Â
